The Sanitas Card is a digital healthcare discount card. As an accepting partner, your practice appears in the Sanitas booking system, where cardholders find you and book appointments. There is no commission and no hidden cost, and no development is needed: all you provide is the discount, while the Sanitas Program and Medio take care of the technical side.

#1. New patients at no cost
Your practice is listed among the Sanitas Card partners, where cardholders find you by the size of your discount. You pay no commission and no other fee.
#2. More online bookings
Your Sanitas profile can include online appointment booking, provided by the Medio system. The setup is done for you; all you have to do is approve it.
#3. Fewer no-shows
Under the Sanitas Card rules, a cardholder who misses a booked appointment may lose their discount card. This strengthens patient commitment.
Other functions
Discounts per service
The discount is a simple setting in the Medio system. You can set a different rate per service and mark the services that carry no discount (e.g. surgical services, discounted screenings, laboratory tests).
QR code verification
The patient shows the digital or printed Sanitas Card. Eligibility is checked by scanning the QR code on the card, with any device.
Sanitas Partner app
You and your colleagues scan the cards in the Sanitas Partner mobile app and follow your current discounts there.
Profile set up for you
The team uploads your contact details, photos, doctors and examinations, sets up the discounts and, if you wish, online booking. Once you approve the profile, it goes live in the booking system the same day.
Three-party e-contract
The contract is concluded between the provider, Sanitas and Medio, quickly and easily online.
Front-desk guide
Your discounts are added to your Sanitas profile and to the front-desk guide. After registering in the Sanitas administration system, the front desk finds everything about accepting the card in one place.
